The aim of Basic Safety Training Refresher is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from BST through Skills Stations and practical scenarios.
This BST-R training shall enable participants to support and care for themselves and others working in theindustry by possessing the knowledge and skills of first aid, working atheights, manual handling, fire awareness and sea survival and, in case of an emergency, to evacuate, rescue and provide appropriate first aid to casualties.

Monday: Working at Height - 1 day
Tuesday: Fire Awareness - 0.5 day
Tuesday: Manual Handling - 0.5 day
Wednesday: Sea Survival - 0.5 day (offshore only)
Wednesday: First Aid - 0.5 day
Total: 2.5 days Onshore 3 days Offshore

Pre-requisites
Must have completed previous GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) Onshore or Offshore Certification.
