Course Structure

Incorporating the ECITB wind inspection core module plus the inspection of working at height systems. This is a combination of both classroom and practical learning.  Learners will cover the following elements during the course:

  • Introduction to inspection in the wind industry
  • Relevant legislation (such as LOLER and PUWER)
  • Reporting and reporting format
  • Roles & responsibilities (inspection and the inspector)
  • Turbine mounted equipment inspection
  • Working at height systems (fixed)
  • Rescue and evacuation equipment
