We are seeking a skilled and experienced Wind Generator Repair Technician and/or Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of wind turbine generators, including mechanical and electrical systems. This role requires hands-on experience with uptower repairs, generator overhauls, and component replacements. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Review all commercial contracts against the Company’s contracting policy to identify contractual, commercial and highlighted operational risk and make suggested amendments.
· Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a Group tendering process and improving all business line tender/quotation templates and associated documentation.
· Responsible for highlighting key risks to management and managing these appropriately.
· Be the focal point for Global contractual queries.
· Review Tax Clauses and liaise with Finance or Tax Adviser where required.
· Develop and maintain commercial risk overview records for carrying out business activities globally.
· Review and comment on all NDAs/LOI’s.
· Ensure complete understanding, familiarisation and compliance with the Company’s Integrated Management System through provision of timely documentation and accordance to internal and external audits.
· Carry out other risk analysis as necessary, e.g. warranties, taxes in conjunction with Functions, Exchange rate, insurance and compliance etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Degree qualified in a relevant discipline such as Contract Law or a technical subject
· 10+years demonstrable experience in an offshore industry and/or Renewables/construction contractual/commercial role
· Project Management training – PMI or APM accredited desirable but not essential.
· In-depth knowledge of subcontracting T&C’s and subcontractor agreements.

· Ensuring relevant documentation is completed and recorded in company systems and submitted to accrediting bodies as necessary.
· Participating in standardisation and continuing professional development (CPD) events and activities as required.
· Reviewing and updating course content and development within the specialist area in conjunction with the Training Development Manager.
· Establishing key objectives for learning content and courses and ensure these are met.
· Administering and grading examinations as necessary and provide feedback to delegates.
· Answering delegates’ questions and providing any necessary support.
· Enforcing all training policies, procedures and safety practices.
· Conducting relevant safety inspections of all associated equipment and updating maintenance documentation.
· Assisting in identifying new course delivery opportunities.

This role will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of wind turbine blades in accordance with all OEM, industry and company requirements and standards. This role will be based in the UK with regular travel required to undertake work and projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:
· Inspecting and evaluating the condition and performance of wind turbine blades.
· Identifying and troubleshooting any issues or defects with blades and carrying out all repair and maintenance activities as necessary
· Completing repairs independently of 10+ layers.
· Utilising rope access and/or suspended platforms working methods to complete repair and maintenance work scopes.
· Carry out other wind turbine repairs as required.
· Preparing equipment and tools for use, operating and thereafter storing them in accordance with manufacturer and company requirements.
· Completing all necessary reports, documentation and records in an accurate and timely manner.
· Practicing site safety in all activities, complying with all relevant HSEQ policies, procedures and requirements and reporting any associated matters or concerns.
· Completing other site / project specific tasks or work directed by the Company during periods of downtime due to adverse weather conditions.
· Undertaking training and skills and CPD development activities as necessary.
· Ensuring that all parts and tools are adequately stored and in good condition when used.
· Providing guidance and support to Trainees and / or inexperienced members of the team as appropriate.
· Supporting and assisting the wider operations team as required.
Essential:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience of blade installation, maintenance and repair across all major blade platforms and designs.
· Strong skills and knowledge of composite repairs (all categories 1-5)

· Supervision, planning and co-ordination of the activities of wind blade technicians, contractors and activities on site.
· Planning and delivery of daily work, organising resources of working parties, assigning technicians to specific tasks and providing key information to support management of the project schedule in accordance with client and company requirements.
· Inspection and evaluation of the condition and performance of wind turbine blades.
· Identifying and troubleshooting any issues or defects with the blades.
· Planning and scheduling blade maintenance, repair and replacement projects
· Practicing and ensuring site safety in all activities, complying with all relevant HSEQ policies, procedures and requirements and reporting any associated matters or concerns.
· Creation and implementation of safety critical control measures including, but not limited to, risk assessment, method statement, take5 and toolbox talks.
· Collating, completing and submitting all necessary job reports, documentation and records in an accurate and timely manner and providing reports to management as required.
· Effectively conducting composite repairs and inspections in the field (at heights or on the ground) in accordance with client and company requirements.
· Completing repairs independently of 10+ layers.
· Clear and timely communication with customers and colleagues relating to all aspects of field operations.
