Objective

• Provision of on-site technical supervision, specialist welding, fitting and CSWIP Inspection support (10 x personnel).


• Provision of welding plant, tools, and equipment to undertake the works at site, provision of qualified and certified welding personnel to ISO 9606-1 Client standard and specifications.

• Vessel work-scope at site included refurbishment, replacement and re-instatement of new pipework, prefabricated spool-work.

Solution

Replacement and re-instatement of vapour horn, vessel nozzles, valves and flanges, pipework and flanges, heat trace pipework, varying carbon pipework replacement, level gauge bridle replacement, various spool piece tie-in pipework.

All site welding activities inspected in line with Client NDE requirements at site. All works undertaken documented and controlled by APS CSWIP Welding Inspector with daily shift interface with Client NDE contractor and Client Inspection.

All personnel were required to undertake Preem Refinery site and safety inductions and to deliver the construction support safely to highest standards in quality throughout the 6 week programme.
