Objective
Aurora delivered a remote telecoms infrastructure upgrade involving the decommissioning of an existing pole and installation of a new 20-metre telecoms mast. The project was located in a highly remote area with significant access constraints. Careful planning and complex logistics were required to transport oversized equipment through narrow, weight-restricted roads in Northern Ireland. Despite the challenges, the project was completed successfully, supporting ongoing network infrastructure improvements. We sought to safely decommission an existing telecoms pole and install a new upgraded mast in a remote location with minimal disruption to surrounding infrastructure.
Challenges
Value to Client
Aurora’s ability to adapt quickly and think creatively ensured the project was delivered safely, efficiently, and without delays. The successful upgrade provided the client with a future-ready telecoms installation and a clear pathway for future infrastructure improvements in remote environments. The project showcased Aurora’s capability to execute complex logistics and engineering tasks under difficult site conditions — delivering results with precision and reliability.
