Aurora Energy Services appoints Bryan Loveless as President Americas to drive expansion

Aurora Energy Services has appointed Bryan Loveless as President Americas as it prepares for major expansion across the renewable energy, data centre and electrification sectors.

Bryan brings extensive experience across wind, solar and battery storage, joining Aurora from BHE Renewables, where he was vice president responsible for its wind and solar business. During his 14-year energy career, he also held senior engineering, planning and construction roles at MidAmerican Energy.

Aurora’s annual revenues in the Americas, currently approximately $30 million, are forecast to exceed $50 million in 2027, driven by growth in existing markets and expansion into new territories. With several bases in Texas, Aurora plans to add a third US site and, longer term, establish facilities in Brazil to complement its Chilean operation.

Aurora Energy Services chief executive officer, Doug Duguid, said: “Bryan’s depth of experience across renewable energy and strong leadership skills will help us achieve our growth objectives in the Americas. His understanding of the importance of safety and ability to motivate teams were important factors in making this appointment.

“Our existing wind business is substantial, but we want to expand our blade and generator repair services while developing opportunities in major component exchange and generator overhaul projects.”

Data centre construction is another key growth target, where Aurora can leverage its wind, solar and battery storage experience alongside its global expertise in electrification projects.

Doug added: “In terms of revenue, our activities in Europe and Australia lead the way, but the scale and potential of the Americas market could transform our business and become our largest single market.”

Bryan Loveless said: “I was aware of Aurora’s reputation for putting safety first and its can-do approach to delivering practical solutions without compromising on quality. I look forward to growing a business with strong foundations and significant untapped potential.

“The US wind sector has considerable room for growth, with a substantial market for maintaining and repairing ageing turbines. Combined with AI-driven data centre demand, Aurora is well positioned to bring together our renewables experience and electrical services expertise to capitalise on these opportunities.”

Aurora confirmed it will recruit additional frontline staff and crews to support its expansion in key US locations.
