Aurora has invested in the Liftra LT1200 self-hoisting crane — an innovative solution enabling major wind turbine repairs without the need for external cranes. It’s compact, efficient, and built for speed, safety, and smarter maintenance.
The primary objective was to reduce the downtime associated with traditional repairs of components such as generators or gearboxes, which can often result in weeks of lost productivity. Liftra provides a solution by enabling components to be lifted and replaced up the tower, allowing for faster and more cost-effective maintenance.
